Which AI receptionists integrate with HawkSoft, AMS360, and Applied Epic?

Only integrations each vendor lists on its own pages, with links: Sonant, Insurvoice, and AgentZap, plus what to confirm in a demo.

Short answer

On their own pages, Sonant, Insurvoice, and AgentZap each list HawkSoft, AMS360, and Applied Epic as integrations. Sonant says it is an Applied Epic Certified Vendor Integration and writes notes and tasks back to the client record, and Insurvoice calls its HawkSoft and AMS360 connections native. Tactly, Rosie, and Smith.ai don't name any of the three on the pages we checked.

The problem

An AI receptionist that can't see or update your agency management system leaves your CSRs retyping call summaries into client records. Many vendors put AMS logos on their sites, but a logo isn't a working write-back. This page lists only integrations each vendor names on its own pages, says how each vendor describes them, and links the page so you can check. We have not tested these integrations ourselves.

Compliance check

Marked Verified only when the vendor's own page says so (linked). Unverified means we could not confirm it on a vendor page, not that the feature is missing. Ask the vendor in writing. How badges work.

“Listed” means the vendor names the system as an integration on its own site. It doesn’t tell you whether the integration reads data, writes data, or both, or which record types it touches. Confirm that in a demo.

Rosie and Smith.ai, which we cover in AI receptionists for insurance agencies, don’t name HawkSoft, AMS360, or Applied Epic on the pages we checked (Smith.ai’s integrations directory; Rosie’s pricing page, which lists Zapier). A Zapier route only works if your AMS exposes a usable trigger or action, so check with your AMS provider.

What to confirm in the demo

  1. Read or write? Can the receptionist look up a caller by phone number in your AMS, and can it write a note, activity, or task back?
  2. Which record? Does the note land on the right client and policy, and who is shown as the author?
  3. Which edition? Ask whether the integration supports your exact product and hosting (for example cloud or on-premises), since vendors may only support some setups.
  4. Who sets it up and what it costs. AgentZap notes some integrations need setup beyond its standard fee.
  5. Test with a dummy client. Call in as a test client and check the record afterward.

Compliance notes

  • Licensing. Only licensed staff should discuss coverage specifics. An AMS lookup lets the AI verify a caller and handle service requests, not give coverage advice.
  • Data access. An integration gives the vendor access to client records. Review the vendor’s security documentation and your carrier and state requirements before connecting.
  • Call recording consent. Some states require all-party consent, for example California (Penal Code §632).
  • This is general information, not legal advice.

Who should skip this

  • Agencies happy to have a CSR copy summaries into the AMS each morning. Any receptionist that emails a summary will do, and cheaper options exist.
